Boxing bandages in various colours and lengths
Boxing bandages are essential in martial arts, whether for training or competition. The padding and stabilisation of the hands can significantly reduce the risk of injury with the right wrapping technique for the bandages.
With a bandage underneath the boxing gloves, your hands and wrists are optimally protected.
In our range, you‘ll find boxing bandages in accordance with the IBA/DBV standard in various lengths (2.5 m, 3.5 m and 4.5 m) and colours made from different materials.
Hand bandages are suitable as inner gloves under the actual boxing glove or punching bag glove. Alternatively, an inner glove can also be worn.
We also offer the «Gel Wrap» boxing bandage with neoprene hand wrap with gel padding. This boxing bandage also offers optimum cushioning and stabilisation.
Of course, you can also find high-quality competition and training gloves at PAFFEN SPORT.
Wrapping boxing bandages correctly: How it works
First, the thumb strap is placed around the thumb and tightened so that it cannot slip.
Then wrap the bandage tightly around the wrist a few times.
Next, wrap the bandage from the back of the hand outwards between the individual knuckles, always in the same order: wrist, back of the hand, space between the fingers. Wrist, back of the hand, etc.
Make sure that a fist can still be made despite sufficient firmness.
Note: The bandage is wrapped around the thumb from the inside. Wrap it once more around the wrist, once more around the thumb and then wrap the end of the bandage around the wrist in the opposite direction until the end.
Applying hand bandages or boxing bandages requires a little practice the first few times, but can be learnt quickly.
