They stabilise your wrists, back of the hand and knuckles. This also protects you from injuries caused by impact and twisting.At the beginning of the bandage is a loop that is pulled over the thumb and a printed message "This Side Down", which tells you which side of the bandage must be down when wrapping. The wide hook & loop fastener at the end of the support closes firmly and securely so that it won't slip even during really hard training.
