Sophie Alisch
Featherweight
She is without question the most talented boxer in German women's boxing and is already seen by many as the legitimate successor to Regina Halmich. Regina Halmich was also the one who certified that she "could make it to the top". The WBC took a similar view in 2019 and 2020 and nominated her as "Prospect of the Year" twice in a row
These awards and accolades are no coincidence. Right from the start, Sophie Alisch impressed with her power, athleticism and fearlessness, making her unstoppable even in the amateur ranks. Here Sophie has 38 wins and only four defeats to her name. She also achieved the feat of becoming German U19 featherweight champion in 2016 at the age of just 14, making her the youngest title holder in this age group in German Olympic boxing.
After switching to the professional ranks in 2018, she also caused a stir here, as evidenced by the aforementioned nominations, which also prompted world champion Katie Taylor to comment that Sophie was "one to watch". With now 9 wins and no defeats, Sophie Alisch has confirmed all expectations and hopes
Fight record as a professional:
9 fights, 9 wins, 1 KO, no draws, no defeats
