Osleys Iglesias Estrada

IBO World Champion, Super-Middleweight

Lupesoliai Laauli-a-le-malietoa Joseph Parker - Joseph bears the Samoan chieftain's name with great pride and dignity. This is because it goes back to his parents' Samoan ancestry and was given to him with the call to be a "strong man". Joseph has demonstrated this impressively in the ring in recent years.

After a successful amateur career with two New Zealand championships, Joseph turned professional in 2012 and remained undefeated for four years before securing the vacant WBO heavyweight title in 2016 against none other than Andy Ruiz Jr. After successfully defending the title twice the following year, he was defeated by Anthony Joshua after a clever and spirited fight in 2018. This was followed by the WBO Intercontinental title against David Chisora in 2021.

This small selection alone shows that Joseph is not afraid of big names and has proven his class time and again against well-known opponents from the outset.

Joseph is a left-footed outfielder, 193 cm tall and has an identical reach of 193 cm. He was born on 9 January 1992 in Auckland, New Zealand, and has three children with his partner Laine. He is trained by Kevin Barry and managed by Matchroom Sports.
