for boxing and combat sports headguards

Important information on proper use.

Before using the headguard, make sure all items are included and show no defects. The head guard listed beside are intended to avoid superficial mechanical injuries during boxing or combat sports and may not be suitable for other sports.
Depending on the instensity and form of application as well as cleaning and care, the headguard may deform or even suffer damage.

Depending on the instensity and form of application as well as cleaning and care, the headguard may deform or even suffer damage. Likewise, chemicals or extreme heat can cause damage and reduce protection. It is advisable and in the athleteís own interest to replace the headguard in such a case.

In order to provide the best possible protection, it is advisable to replace the headguard at the end of the two year warranty at the latest.

Choose the correct size!

Please check before the first workout, if the headguard adjusts perfectly to the shape oft he head and if the forehead and ears are completely covered. The headguard should have a tight fit and should not be able to slip. The field of vision must not be restricted. To prevent slipping, it hast o be checked prior to using the headguard, if the Velcro fasteners and buckled fastenings are closed tightly and if the laced fastenings are tied.

Cleaning and storage.

Protect the headguard from moisture and wet. Always store dry. Provide for good ventilation after training so that the moisture from sweating can evaporate. Clean by hand with lukewarm or mild detergent. Remove cleaning residues with a damp cloth and wipe dry with a soft cloth. Dry the headguard at ambient temperature in a well ventilated space. Avoid heat sources and extreme temperature. Never use chemicals, paint thinner, fuel, alcohol or strong detergents for cleaning as they might damage the surface. Clean the leather with a suitable, colourless care product.
