Made in Germany

All «ALLROUND» mouthguards from Paffen Sport are manufactured entirely in Germany. This ensures that only the best materials are used and that no harmful chemicals get into your mouth.

Food-safe and free of harmful substances

All mouthguards from the «ALLROUND» line from Paffen Sport are food-safe and free from harmful substances. The mouthguards are tasteless and free from harmful additives and plasticisers. The «ALLROUND MINT» and «ALLROUND» mouthguards also have a pleasant mint flavour.

Simple adjustment

Fitting the «ALLROUND» mouthguards is simple: insert the mouthguard into the upper jaw and fix it in place by biting down lightly. Remove any interfering plastic parts with a sharp knife. Now place the mouthguard in 65° hot water for 5 minutes. CAUTION: Do not use boiling water! Rinse the mouth several times with cold water. Remove the mouthguard from the hot water and insert it into the upper jaw. Press your tongue against the roof of your mouth and bite down with moderate pressure for approx. 2 to 3 minutes. That's it! If not, simply repeat the process.

Versatile in use

Can be used in all full contact and contact sports such as boxing, kickboxing, karate, judo, wrestling, wrestling, handball, hockey, basketball, rugby and other sports with similar risks of hard jaw impact such as mountain biking, skateboarding and similar.

«ALLROUND MINT» Mouthguard

Made in Germany, food-safe and suitable for full-contact martial arts and other contact sports.
This popular mouthguard from Paffen Sport is suitable for all contact and full-contact sports. It is manufactured in Germany, is food-safe and free from harmful substances. The mint flavour ensures a pleasant taste in the mouth and fresh breath.
The mouthguard is available in two sizes: one in the normal size for adults and one in a size specially adapted to the jaw of children.
To adjust the mouthguard, it simply needs to be soaked in water at a maximum temperature of 65 degrees for five minutes. Make absolutely sure that the mouthguard is not placed in boiling water, as otherwise it will soften, take on the consistency of chewing gum and can no longer be adjusted.
This is why you should wear a mouthguard at every competition or training session.
Every athlete who plays a contact sport should wear a mouthguard. It is therefore mandatory in many sports. In most martial arts, it is just as much a natural piece of equipment as boxing gloves, bandages, headgear and other protective equipment. It is also a natural accessory in many contact sports. Contrary to popular belief, mouthguards are not only used to protect the jaw, teeth, lips and gums from sometimes serious injuries. The risk of concussions can also be reduced by using a mouthguard in many sports where the upper and lower jaws can hit hard.
Full contact sports in which a mouthguard should be used or is mandatory:
  • Boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, K1, MMA
  • Karate, judo
  • Wrestling, wrestling
  • All related martial arts
Contact sports in which a mouthguard should be used or is mandatory:
  • Rubby, American football
  • Ice hockey
  • Handball, basketball
  • Hockey
  • Football
  • Lacrosse
  • Comparable sports
Other sports with comparable risks:
  • Inline skating, skateboarding
  • Mountain biking
  • Comparable sports
This is what you should bear in mind when caring for your shoes.
After sport, it is best to rinse the mouthguard thoroughly under lukewarm water and allow it to air dry. Never leave the moist mouthguard in the closed storage box for long periods of time. This can lead to mould growth. Always store in the open storage box and ensure good ventilation all round. Occasionally, the mouthguard should be cleaned more thoroughly with a toothbrush under running water. Do not use cleaning agents, denture cleaners or toothpaste for cleaning. Replace the mouthguard with a new one after one year at the latest.
If you have braces or dentures, you should consult your orthodontist/dentist before use.
